Correction - Blessing of the Pets - Correction

Correction: This Friday, Oct. 3rd will be Blessing of the Pets @ 2:15. Please bring your furry or feathered family pets to the Middle School grass area in front of the school office. If you are planning to bring exotic pets, please notify the school office.

FUN RUN NEWS

GREAT WORK!! The students reached their goal for the week. We are on are FINAL DAYS until Fun Run Day! Pledges can be collected until Monday, October 6th. Total Pledges: $26,937.85 with $21,246.85 collected. LET'S REACH FOR THE GOAL AND BRING THOSE COLLECTIONS IN THIS WEEK!! OUR GOAL: $ 35,000.00.

FUN RUN IS THIS SUNDAY: October 5th at the Kennewick High School Track. Arrive at 2:45 for warm-up. The event starts promptly at 3pm. An extra Fun Run T-shirt while supplies last can be purchased at the event for $10.00.

FUN RUN MEAL: After the event. Cost is $3.50/person. If you have not turned in your money or registration please do so this week. Pre collection of money is highly encouraged but tickets may be purchased at the door.

STATUS: Standing after week #4: T-shirts 77.7 % with a goal of 92%. REMEMBER a T-shirt is earned once $60 is paid and SIGNED WAIVER IS RECEIVED. If your student is not participating please sign the waiver and return - but we encourage you to join us. Mrs. Frankovic leads the school with $108.50 average per student pledged.

JUMP AND JOUST: October 2nd. If your student has $100.00 dollars or more of PAID pledges returned he/she receives a day of fun.

All UNCOLLECTED PLEDGES: We ask you to hold off turning your student's money in until you receive a statement that will be sent home with your student the first week in November. All money is due at the time the statement goes home.

GREAT WORK AND SUPPORT!! LET'S GIVE IT ONE LAST BIG EFFORT TO REACH FOR THE GOAL!! ALL EFFORTS WILL BENEFIT YOUR STUDENT'S EDUCATION. SEE YOU AT THE TRACK!!

SCRIP

Hey! The SJS website now includes the SCRIP Order Form and a SCRIP Retailer List. Just print it off from the website, fill it out and send it in to the office with your payment, and we will be more than happy to fill-out your order for you.

FALL SCHOOL WORK DAY

FALL SCHOOL WORK DAY – Saturday, October 11, 2008, 9:00am – 12:00 noon.

We will be doing clean-up work on the outside and the inside of the school. If you have tools or equipment that we may use to do these jobs we would appreciate your bringing it also. These hours are applied to your family’s service hours and a great way for parents who are not free during the week to get some hours in. Thank you for volunteering to help us out.

Campbell's Label for Education!

Thanks to all who clipped and tuned in their UPC labels from their Campbell products! The total points that we turned infore the month of September was 1,700. Let’s try to beat that amount by the end of October. This month we will also begin a “Recipe of the Month”. Try the Campbells recipe below and be sure to clip and send in the label for school points.
